This marks a significant shift towards eco-friendly, community-driven reading experiences.
Powered by cutting-edge electric technology, the mobile library vehicle emits zero emissions, making it an eco-conscious choice for book lovers and environmentally-conscious citizens alike. It's a forward-thinking solution that aligns with the UK's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
The design is based on the previously very popular diesel 7,200kgs Torton mobile library, and still provides users power throughout the vehicle, supplied by batteries, disabled access via a casstte lift, electrically operated entrance door which can be opened from the drivers seat or the door itself, plus an abundance of book shelves throughout.
