Torton have been supplying mobile occupational health vehicles and mobile hearing testing vehicles for the past 20 years to a variety of clients. Some clients opt for the custom build Torton body providing anywhere between 3.2-4.5m in length and a nice sizeable space to work from. Other customers require a more conventional van fit out, using a long wheel base and high roof option.
Each vehicle has an element of the following items such as heating, air conditioning, sound booth, height chart, illuminated eye chart, plenty of desk and storage space and in some cases a toilet.
A mixture of electric deployable steps or a hinged set of steps are used depending on the vehicle/ design in question.
Nearly all mobile occupation health clinics that Torton have designed and built have stayed under the 3,500Kgs vehicle category, enabling anyone with a standard driving licence to drive the vehicle up and down the UK.
Mobile clinics have always been a popular product for Torton, with the attention to detail and innovative layouts producing a market leading option for the health testing industry.
Some of our mobile occupational health clinic examples can be found here, and in the images on this page.
