Torton Wins Prestigious eDaily Category Award at IVECO's Daily Mission Awards
Torton Bodies Ltd is proud to announce that it has won the eDaily Category Award at IVECO's recent Daily Mission Awards. This recognition highlights the company’s innovative approach to developing high-quality, sustainable vehicle body solutions for IVECO’s electric eDaily range.
The prestigious awards were presented to the winners at a special black-tie event, hosted by broadcaster and journalist Laura Winter, alongside special guests, two-time Britain’s Strongest Man Adam Bishop, and British Olympics icon Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.
The award reflects Torton Bodies Ltd’s commitment to excellence in design, engineering, and sustainability, ensuring that the eDaily vehicles deliver optimal performance while supporting IVECO’s mission of reducing environmental impact. Torton’s bespoke vehicle bodies for the eDaily are designed to enhance operational efficiency, enable zero emission journeys where otherwise they might not be possible, and meet the specific needs of businesses in a variety of industries.
The vehicle entered into this years awards was Torton's mobile library vehicle, which when fully fitted out and the literature is installed, is getting up to the maximum permissible weight but still provides a great range of zero emission miles.
“We are honoured to receive this award and proud to be part of IVECO’s journey towards sustainable transport solutions,” said James Andrews, Managing Director of Torton Bodies Ltd. “This achievement is a testament to our team's dedication and innovation in the evolving commercial vehicle market.”
